Burglary Near You -Sherborne Road, Outer City

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Sherborne Road Monday 9th March between 0600hrs and 0900hrs, suspects have forced the door and lock allowing entry. 

PREMISES IS A FLAT.  UNKNOWN SUSPECT/S FORCE ENTRY TO DOOR AND GAIN ENTRY, REMOVE BAG AND ITEMS AND MAKE GOOD ESCAPE UNSEEN,

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between Monday9th March between 0600hrs and 0900hrs, to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
